I have just had my heart broken, and this little 97 page book is responsible.
I went into Goodwill on my break this afternoon, and came out $6.44 poorer with Alfred Hitchcock’s Tales to Scare You Stiff, The Amelia Bedelia Treasury, Yellow Submarine, Sears, Roebuck and Co. Fall 1900, and 84, Charing Cross Road.

I devoured 84, Charing Cross Road. I love reading letters, especially now that I’ve been writing letters on a weekly basis. It’s such an interesting means of communication.
I saw 84, and I thought, “that sounds familiar” so I snatched it up.
I just finished reading it moments ago and I very nearly cried. It was delightful. Go read it, please.
